Nigerian Media Personality Bolanle Olukani has recently expressed her dissatisfaction with the just concluded Nigerian Elections on an interview with CNN. According to Bolanle, The Electoral Body (INEC) wasn’t genuine with the results they released to the public.
Following the Nigerian Election processes, Chief Bola Tinubu emerged winner as he was declared President by INEC. This win didn’t go well with the public as many demanded a change of power. Bolanle Olukani in an interview with CNN narrated the experiences that transpired at the polling unit where voting occurs. She explained that people who voted stayed back to confirm the votes recorded only for INEC to release a different number of valid votes. In summary Bolanle expressed disappointment at INEC as she said thus;
This election was not free and fair and INEC is lying to us”.
