The former senator that represented the good people of Kogi West Senatorial Zone and a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Dino Melaye, has taken to his verified Twitter page to say the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has two hills to climb and his steps are shaky.
Yesterday, Nigeria held its 2023 presidential election people over the country came out in millions to exercise their franchise by casting votes for their choice of candidates in their respective polling units.
However, as Nigerians and all the political parties await the announcement of the results by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Dino Melaye took to his microblogging, Twitter, to say Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has two hills to climb and his steps are shaky.
Dino Melaye made it known by saying Tinubu was looking for 24 states to get 25% while Atiku Abubakar of the PDP has crossed that threshold plus three extra. He claimed that Atiku has a 900k lead by their estimation.
Concluding this, Dino Melaye accused the opposition of trying hard to breach those strongholds. He said INEC must hold fast.
In the tweet shared by Dino Melaye, he wrote below:
“Tinubu has two hills to climb and his steps are shaky. He’s looking for 24 states to get 25% while Atiku has crossed that threshold plus three extra and has a 900k lead by our estimation – strongholds still incoming. They’re trying hard to breach those but INEC must hold fast.”
