During an interview with the News Agency Nigeria on Monday, Abdullahli Adamu, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress has commended the Idependent National Electoral Commission on the Bimodal Verification and Accreditation System, BVAS.
Adamu admitted the malfunction of the BVAS in some places noting that he is not expecting it to be 100 percent.
In his words, “Although the system malfunctioned in some places, it is not overwhelming to question the credibility of the election. I must commend INEC, I think it has been worth the experiment and it should be used for subsequent elections”
Speaking further, the APC Chairman revealed that he is optimistic that the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will win the election because of his faith in God, “I Know Tinubu will win because of his faith in God and we have worked for it and we believe Nigerians have listened to us as they have listened to others”, he added.
