African Transformation Movement member, Mzwanele Manyi has slammed president Cyril Ramaphosa saying he is out of depth with reality on the ground.

He said this in response to the ongoing power cuts in South Africa even though president Cyril Ramaphosa had appointed a minister of electricity to deal with the crisis.

Many thought by now that things could have been better, but it is actually getting worse with load shedding still going up to stage 4. The minister of electricity who was appointed by president Cyril Ramaphosa is still familiarising himself with the entire department.

It might take some time before actual progress could be seen happening in terms of the power cuts that are being experienced in South Africa.

Mzwanele Manyi however said president Cyril Ramaphosa must go as he is out of depth with the reality. Manyi has been relentless in calling for the ANC leader to vacate his position.

“The man is totally out of his depth. Cyril Ramaphosa must go,” said Mzwanele Manyi. Recently, former president Thabo Mbeki criticised the African National Congress for shielding president Cyril Ramaphosa from being held accountable.

Mbeki questioned why the ANC is blocking all the processes that seek to hold Ramaphosa accountable. He adds that by doing so, they are giving the people an impression that they know Ramaphosa might have done something wrong and they now want to protect him no matter what.

“Mbeki wants the ANC to answer for shielding Mr Ramaphosa from facing parliament scrutiny on Phala Phala Farm gate and for not allowing the Eskom probe to expose corruption,” said Mzwanele Manyi.
