Imo State governor Hope Uzodinma has described the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, as a pragmatic leader, saying his victory at the polls is well deserved.

Speaking in Owerri, the Imo State capital, the governor, while congratulating the president-elect, says that he has all it takes to turn things around in the country.

Prince Ubah reports that last Saturday, Nigerians in their numbers voted for the candidate of their choice in the presidential election.

In the closely contested election, the Independent National Electoral Commission on Wednesday morning declared Bola Tinubu the winner after pulling the highest number of votes. to emerge as Nigeria’s president-elect.

This victory is one that a joyous Governor Uzodinma celebrates, expressing confidence that the president-elect has the capacity to turn the fortunes of this country, as he demonstrated when he was governor of Lagos State.

The governor has this to say: “A man, who you know, brought Lagos to be the most cosmopolitan and largest city in Africa today.

“A man with a lot of capacity and ideas, who has trained and brought up so many young men and women into meaningful positions.

“So I am happy to Almighty God for giving APC, our great party, the opportunity to continue to pilot the affairs of the country. All I ask of my people is to be patient.”
