An English adage says if the one we support in a game finally emerges as the winner, one won’t hesitate to celebrate his win to any length because the one we support is always the one we delight in
.This saying can be attributed to a group of people in Lagos sighted in a viral video online dancing to Hausa music while celebrating the victory of the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the presidential election.
Recall that INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu, having satisfied all conditions, declared Ahmed Tinubu the rightful winner of the presidential election, which had made some of his supporters rejoice exceedingly.
However, in the video, some people in Lagos were seen singing and dancing to a Hausa song while celebrating Asiwaju’s victory, while another two people were also seen holding a banner with the picture of the newly declared president as well as his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
Following this, many social media users have reacted to the video; while some laughed off the matter, others claimed they were paid to do so.
