UMlazi Municipality Receives Criticism For Fining Small Businesses R5000

Organizations operating illegally in uMlazi were each fined R5,000 today. Residents are unhappy because they feel the small company owners who are being punished are also struggling to make ends meet.

As company owners were asked to register for trade licences and not dump illegally by having a waste disposal arrangement in place, it is terribly terrible that members of our society system are in such a dreadful mafia situation in which they are pushed. It’s unfortunate that corporate giants were urged to get trade licenses.

Many citizens hope that the nation will be rescued from its current economic crisis thanks to the diligent efforts of local governments to collect taxes and debts owed to them. 50mindstion Good Hope, which aims to resolve uMlazi’s customer service issues this week, includes this initiative.

Criminals have free rein in our country while honest people are punished for trying to make a living and provide for their families. One of the factors that contributes to the problem is that they are not attempting to squeeze people for additional dollars to expand infrastructure or maybe to produce employment for other people. The group has no plans to engage in any of those activities.

Since they have not been able to deport the illegal immigrants who run businesses around the country, most individuals have set up shop in the urban centers without contributing to the upkeep of these areas and, to make things worse, without following the law.

When asked why the city had decided to reach out to small businesses, officials responded that although they applaud entrepreneurial spirit, it is crucial that local laws be followed. In this case, the government is sending a clear message that it is not interested in the success of the little man, and this is a serious issue for the great majority of the population.
