Here is what Tony Leon said about EFF’s performance in Parliament

President Cyril Ramaphosa’s state of the nation address (Sona) was widely criticized by the country’s opposition parties, who claimed that it contained nothing but empty promises. These broken assurances were the impetus for EFF to interrupt his talk. When you’re sitting in the dark because of loadshedding, it’s hard to gripe about Malema and the EFF.

Tony Leon is a former Democratic Party member who has since switched to the DA. From 1999-2007, he presided as head of the Democratic Alliance and led the opposition (DA). After founding the DA in 2000, he served as its leader until 2007.

So, help me out here…

Last night, EFF goons dressed as legislators stormed the stage in an apparent attempt to attack

@CyrilRamaphosa

It’s quite a thing that the ANC branches in Johannesburg, Ekuruleni, and Tshwane are working together to seize control of their respective municipal governments.

However, Omphile Maotwe claimed that soldiers were inside parliament, preventing a lawfully elected lawmaker from exercising his constitutional right to hold the Executive accountable by beating him and then removing him from the chamber. Be concerned, South Africans. John Steenhuisen concurred that the Speaker’s behavior was inappropriate.
