Peter Obi Wins Tinubu In Lagos State

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, has defeated the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Lagos, his home State, according to a report released today by the DAILY POST.

More so, it will be recalled that Nigeria started 2023 elections with the presidential, senatorial and house of representatives election on Saturday, February 25, 2023, to elect leaders that will represent and lead the citizens at various political levels. Moreover, Nigerians patiently await the final declaration of their President for the next four years, as the collation of results from the 36 States, including Federal Capital territory continues.

Furthermore, based on the report, all the results of the 20 local government areas in Lagos State have been declared, as Tinubu won in eleven local government areas while Obi won in nine local government areas of the State. Moreover, “though APC presidential candidate, Tinubu won more local government areas in Lagos but Obi defeated him with most of the votes”, according to the report.
