2023 Election: I Want To Beg Nigerians To Vote A Unifier, Someone Who Will Wipe Away Our Tears – Ayu
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorcha Ayu, has urged Nigerians to vote for a presidential candidate who would unify all the regions in the country, someone who would make sure that the economy of Nigeria turns out to be the best in Africa and someone who would wipe away the tears of its people. Senator Ayu made this known while accusing the APC-led administration of sabotaging all the good things things in Nigeria, including the economy and security, while speaking in Cross River State during the PDP presidential campaign rally at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar on Tuesday. “I want to beg Nigerians to vote a unifier, someone who will wipe away our tears”, Senator Ayu advises Nigerians.
While further speaking, Senator Ayu disclosed that the Jonathan-led administration was way far better than the current administration because when they left the presidency, the foreign debt of Nigeria was at $9.6 billion, but within the last 7 years, the APC has increased it to $97 billion. “When we left, we left a foreign debt of 9.6 billion dollars, within 7 years, the APC has increased that debt to 97 billion dollars, in other ways, each one of you standing here is a debtor”, he added.
