Babar’s response to not playing Sarfaraz in the Test series against England.

 

National team captain Babar Azam has said that Against England we made three to four debuts in the series, while there is a need for experienced players in Tests.

Babar Azam said that the match was lost due to early fall of wickets in the first innings, our bowlers bowl well and fought back, they will try to overcome the mistakes in the next matches.

Babar Azam said “There were 3-4 debuts in this series whereas in Test matches experienced players are needed as new players have to be given time, will try to give full time to the new boys”.

Babar Azam said that the first 2 matches were in our hands, if we had won, the situation would have been different, there were many difficulties in the series against England, now we will plan to try our best fast bowling unit, Abrar Ahmed created difficulties for England.

In Test matches, there are bowlers who take wickets, English batsmen could not play easily Abrar Ahmed. On the question of not playing Sarfraz and Fawad Alam,

the national captain said that the series against England was important, so Rizwan, who was playing continuously, so our plan was to played those who are in form and playing now.

We will sit and discuss and do what is best. He said that Fawad Alam was not in form, he was replaced by Saud Shakil and he performed.

Our new team will give results as many opportunities as possible, but we have not closed the doors for anyone. Trying to change the mindset, it will take time, if there are no good results, there will be talk from all sides.
