According to reports,a crowd of enraged people is said to have taken the life of a mentally unstable man for reportedly smashing the Automated Teller Machines (ATM) of a bank in Ore, which is the headquarters of the Odigbo Local Government Area LGA of Ondo state.
Following the information acquired by news reporters,it was reported that the middle-aged deceased victim reportedly smashed four automated teller machine points within the bank, despite the fact that some eyewitnesses and passersby of the neighbourhood initially tried their best to prevent him from damaging the ATM machines but to no avail.
It was determined that the mentally unstable man,who was constituting nuisance in the region walked from one machine to the other, breaking the ATM points while so many concerned individuals did all they could to restrain him but he was obviously insistent,which prompted angry eyewitnesses to lynch him on the spot.
Explaining how it happened,when contacted on Monday,23rd January 2023,a resident of the region noted that mentally ill victim was violently descended upon by the angry mob until he fell unconscious and laid motionless on the ground,after which the crowd noticed that he has given up the ghost after succumbing to the heavy assaults on him.
